Bio
Kage Cheadle is an independent hip-hop artist whose journey is defined by resilience, ambition, and an unwavering commitment to music. Born in Killeen, Texas, and shaped by his experiences in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Kage began pursuing music seriously at 19, building his foundation through live performances, independent mixtapes, and a growing presence in the local hip-hop scene.
His early releases, including No Sleep (2011) and No Sleep 2: The Struggle (2013), helped establish his name and led to opportunities with Fayetteville-based label Da Real Young Rich. In 2014, a 66-month prison sentence interrupted his musical momentum, but never ended his connection to music. During his incarceration, Kage continued writing, using the experience to develop his perspective and prepare for his return.
Following his release in 2019, Kage began a new chapter with Tommy Gun Teddy, an artistic identity that became central to his brand and the title of his 16-track album released in 2021. He continued building his catalog with projects and singles including All Facts, Himmy Turner, My City, and Crash Test featuring Yolo Ru.
Continuing to evolve as an independent artist, Kage’s latest releases include Cane Corso and Spose To Do (feat. Fetty P Franklin) [Remix]. With years of independent experience behind him, Kage brings a story of setbacks, growth, and determination to his music. He remains focused on expanding his audience, strengthening his brand, and taking his career to the next level.
